Caregiving NC II is a technical-vocational program designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude required to provide quality care for infants, children, elderly persons, and individuals with special needs. The program focuses on personal care, health maintenance, and basic medical assistance in both home and institutional settings.
The Caregiving NC II curriculum is competency-based and aligned with TESDA standards:
The program emphasizes hands-on training through simulations, laboratory activities, and supervised practical experiences. Students are trained to perform caregiving tasks safely, compassionately, and in accordance with health and safety standards.
Upon completion, students undergo competency assessment leading to a TESDA National Certificate (NC II), which qualifies them for employment in hospitals, nursing homes, home care services, and other caregiving institutions locally and abroad.
