Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BEEd) is a four-year degree program designed to prepare students to become professional elementary school teachers. The program provides a strong foundation in general education, pedagogy, and child development to equip future educators with the knowledge and skills needed to teach young learners in primary education.
The BEEd curriculum includes Professional Education subjects and General Education courses that are grouped into key areas of learning:
The first three years of the program focus on classroom instruction, teaching strategies, lesson planning, and supervised field observations. Students actively participate in demonstrations, group discussions, and teaching simulations. In the fourth year, students undergo full-time teaching internships in elementary schools under the supervision of licensed cooperating teachers and faculty advisers.
